Fig and Yogurt Smoothie
- Small carrot, grated - 1
- Dates, chopped - 2-3
- Soaked almonds, chopped - 5-6
- Lettuce leaves - a few
- Roasted Flax seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon vinaigrette dressing (lemon juice, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper) - 1 teaspoon
Note: 1 cup = 200 ml, ½ cup = 100 ml, 1 tsp = 5 gm, 1 tbsp = 15 gm
*tsp = teaspoon, tbsp = tablespoon
- Combine all ingredients and toss with lemon vinaigrette dressing.
Carrots and dates are high in fiber, while almonds add bulk to stool. Lemon aids digestion and promotes bowel movements.
